Message from the President
Due to the fact that five of the seven members are new to the board, all agreed that everyone will share in learning about all of the officers’ duties and that communication between members will hold a high priority.
The number one concern of the board is to reach out to the community and increase the number of people participating in community activities. It is a shame that during one of the busy months of the year there were not enough people at the meeting to have a community vote on any issue. This board will be researching this concern in the days ahead.
Dick Vanderlaan, President
Homeowners are cordially invited to observe at any Board meetings.
The next Homeowners meeting will be Tuesday, March 9, at 7:00. In February there was not a quorum (25% of homeowners). Please make an effort to attend in March.
Anyone interested in VP social activities is encouraged to meet at the clubhouse Monday, the 15th, at 9:30 – right after coffee -- to discuss electing a Chairman, plan activities, and organize committees to work on suppers, bus trips, luncheons, etc. If you’re interested in this community effort but unable to attend the meeting, just let Don Dewey know you’re available.
Happy Valentine’s Day

Beside the Point
HOW TO INSTALL AN INEXPENSIVE
HOME SECURITY SYSTEM
1. Go to a secondhand store and buy a used pair
of size 14-16 men's work boots.
2. Place them on your front porch, along with a copy of Guns & Ammo
Magazine.
3. Put a few giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazine.
4. Leave a note on your door that reads:
"Bubba: The four of us went for more ammo and beer. Be back in an
hour. Don't mess with the pit bulls; they attacked the mailman this
morning. I don't think Killer took part, but it was hard to tell from
all the blood. Anyway, I locked all four of them in the house. Better
wait outside. Be right back.”
