Fall is just around the corner here in Sebring. Temps may get down to the 70's by the weekend. We certainly can use a break from the recent heat of late summer.

Our first meeting of the season was very informative as it is Fire Prevention Week. Change the batteries in your smoke detectors now and every fire prevention week each year. Test the detectors on a monthly basis.

Welcome, Tom & Kathie Riddle, who moved here recently from Indianapolis, IN and Frank & Donna Alves from Massachusetts, who recently purchased 4318 Vantage Circle.

Some homeowner's have received letters from the architectural control committee and there has been a very positive response to the notices as more than 50% of the problems have already been resolved.

A quote for the resurfacing of the shuffleboard courts was tabled until the November meeting due to a lack of a quorum. The cost of the work by NIDY Sports Construction of Sanford, FL is $3,304.00. Hopefully, this will be passed next month and the work can be scheduled for completion before the end of the year.

Lastly, if all goes well, we may be expecting the work to start on reconstruction of Pointe West before the end of the year.
