E-MAILING TIPS

Recognizing that the majority of our VP residents, unlike our Grandchildren, were not raised in the cyber age of today's fast paced technology, ( we were occupied adjusting the aluminum foil on our rabbit ear TV antenna, trying to eliminate the snow in our black and white picture). I am going to be presenting occasionally, simple TIPS on subjects such as, Cleaning up your e-mails by eliminating all of somebody else's addresses before forwarding. Creating and using Folders. Copying pictures and saving them. Copying data and forwarding or saving it. Inserting pictures directly into your letters, rather than as attachments. And the most fun thing, finding and inserting animated pictures into your letters (really simple, only sounds hard).

I am not a techie (I haven't figured out my cell phone yet) but rather, have just learned simple things over the years that I would like to pass onto you. I will show you how to copy and save these tips, so that if you want, you may pass them onto others without them having to access this site... For many of you, these tips will not be new....

Having said all of this, I must present the caveat that all ISP's, your Internet Service Provider, (AOL, Juno, Embarq, etc.) are not the same and a few things may not work for you but generally speaking, they will.
